This was my first time breaking out the boots this Fall. I went with my Steve Madden's because my Frye boots were off getting spiffied up at the Frye Refurbishing Center. I had new soles put on them, a pull tab repaired, and the leather reconditioned. One pair was still under warranty, and the other was not, so it ended up costing me $75. I just received them back, and I'm pretty happy with the results. The soles look fantastic and made the biggest difference. The pull tab looks good, but I'm anxious to see how well it holds up when I start pulling on it. I was least impressed by the leather reconditioning, because I honestly can't tell much of a difference in the leather. Overall, though, I'm glad I decided to go this route rather than purchasing new boots.

Speaking of new, I have on a new dress today. This is another one from my Fall wish list. I'm happy I was able to go ahead and purchase it, because the temperatures outside have been ideal for this type of dress. In fact, I was able to purchase quite a few things on my wish list due to the perfect set of circumstances. It all started when the detective handling our burglary case found my camera in a local pawn shop. I was excited to get one of my items back, but, naturally, it was the item I missed the least. I literally hadn't taken pictures with it in over a year. Once I got it back, I decided the best course of action would be to sell it. As luck would have it, I got the money for it around the same time as Anthro Day. Since 30% off at Anthro is virtually unheard of, I took advantage and used the money I got for my camera to purchase a few things.

I loved everything I got from my Anthro Day order, but this dress is probably my favorite. The color is fantastic, and I think the fit is really flattering to my figure. However, I didn't realize until I saw these pictures how boobalicious I look in it. And to think, I was all excited about this dress because the wrapping in the front hides my fupa. I said to myself, "Surely, no one can find fault in this dress." Then I took a look at these pictures. I can just hear them now, "Oh...my...God, Becky, look at her boobs. They are just so big, round, and out there." Well, what can I say? There's a lot of stuff happening on this body. It's virtually impossible to keep it all under wraps. "Tis' better to be boobalicious than fupalicious," I always say. ;-)

  1. Oooooh nooooo, I really LIKE this dress, and I can't buy anything else!
I must say, I didn't even notice this dress before I saw your pics and I scour Anthro's site daily. Well, after clicking over to the model shot I can see why I didn't look twice at it before; It looks waaaaaaaay better on you than on the model. In fact, I think your "boobalicous"ness and curves are what make this dress.

I love the necklace you're wearing with it as well. This is one of my favorite outfits that you've posted. If I wind up buying this dress, it will be the second piece your blog has tempted me into purchasing (the first being the Remolino Lace Pullover). After that, I may have to quit you!

  2. That color is gorgeous on you. And the dress looks amazing on you. And if you figure out a way to de-boobify the boobaliciousness I'd love to know. I have yet to find something that doesn't add to the um....liciousness. I avoid turtlenecks and empire waists, but aside from surgery or bandaging those puppies up, I'm stuck with the licious.

  6. Wait...wha...boobalicious is *bad*?!? Unh hnh. You need to check with Jerr on that. I think he'll straighten you out on that point. Right quick.

  9. To be honest Richard the jury is still out. I'm afraid I'll need more time to study the evidence. I'm just studious like that. These conclusions shouldn't be made too hastily... ;)

Seriously, I don't know how she can be so critical of that smoking hot body, and I plan on chasing it around the coffee table when we're in walkers (you know, with tennis balls on the bottom?)

  10. I know Richard can't fathom why we would not embrace our boobaliciousness, but I get you, Kristin. I would love to know what it's like for just one day to not have to carry these suckers around and try to fit them into clothing. It would be so freeing! I guess we all want what we don't have (or don't want what we do have, in this case).

  11. Glad you liked it! Sorry I called your attention to it. I know how it is to see something you really want but don't have the money to buy. Torture! But please don't quit me! I'm sure I'll go back to wearing my hideous sacks and 2 sizes too small clothing soon enough. No danger here! ;-)

  12. Well, I know you fellows love to admire them, but they are not so admirable when they are attached to you. It's work carrying around these suckers all the time. By the time we are in walkers, Jerry should have no problem chasing me because my boobs will probably be dragging the floor. LOL!

  13. You look amazing! If I had your figure, I would snag that dress in for myself. I clicked over to the anthro site and see that the model has a figure similar to mine. While she is beautiful too, the dress doesn't seem to work as well on her... Saved myself some money, though!
