Woody Nymph

"You're stuck in my mind all the time." - Yeasayer

It was not a good day. I have so much to do at work, but I don't want to do anything. I'm completely unmotivated. All I can do is think about things. I'm so tired of thinking. I wish there was an off switch for thoughts. I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow. It's suppose to snow. I still have to go into work, but at least I'll be able to wear jeans.

My bangs did not want to cooperate with me this morning, but I showed them! I decided to make my trip out of the office today to the salon. I had my guy trim my bangs. It was so worth the trip over there! I think I'm going to start stopping by there every two weeks to get them trimmed.

I'm wearing a recent sale purchase today, the Woody Nymph dress. I love this dress so much! It's so comfortable, and I just love the colors in it. I chose to play up the grey in the dress by pairing it with the Rushing Ruffles Cardigan and grey tights. I'm wearing a size small. The name of this dress makes me laugh. What the heck is a Woody Nymph? I Googled it, and here's what I came up with: female spirits of nature (nymphs), who preside over the groves and forests. My mind instantly conjured up an image of the forest of Lothlorien. I'm such a nerd. LOL!

Today's song is "I Remember" by Yeasayer. I think Yeasayer is so awesome. I kind of get an 80's vibe from them. I feel very nostalgic when listening to their music. This song is off the album Odd Blood. It's such a great album!

I don't really have much to say tonight. It's been a long day, I'm tired, and I just want to go to sleep. Have a great night!

  1. Hey Bonnie - I think there was something crazy in the air today....everyone at work was on edge and crabby!! OMGoodness! So, you aren't alone in your "blues". I am in the same place... there is always tomorrow. Hugs! xoxo OH - BTW - you look beautiful. I love the dress - even if it DOES have a funny name! :)

  5. Hey Bonnie! Dress is cute on you! I almost bought it on Saturday using my birthday discount but was already spending enough money, so decided against it. Anyway, I took your advice and started a blog. It's nothing special yet and I'm still getting my feet wet and trying to figure out how to put it all together. When you get a chance, check it out: www.apassingfancyinaz.blogspot.com
I'm also totally in a rut right now and am hoping this blog helps...so far so good. Hope you're feeling better today.
