OOTD: Mossy Atoms Skirt

What a difference a day makes! I've been very productive at work this morning and am feeling a lot less stressed out than yesterday! I'm sure it doesn't hurt that I just love my outfit today. I purchased this top, skirt, and belt at the Labor Day Sale at Anthro. I totally copied the catalog shot above. I threw in a brown Jackie Cardigan from J Crew to make this work appropriate, and I finished things off with the Bonnie Peep Toe Heels. The top and skirt are a size small, so both these pieces run big. I definitely prefer this top tucked into something. It has a really sloppy look untucked. It is pretty sheer, but with a nude color bra, it is not that bad. I can't say enough good things about this skirt! It is so cute and super comfortable!
The cotton fields are really pretty right now, so I'm going to try to get my husband to take some pics this afternoon in the cotton field. I think this outfit would look really pretty surrounded by cotton!

  3. I'm so jealous of anyone who can carry off that skirt. I love the print on it, but it was huge on me with the elastic waist. You look wonderful in it.

  6. Cindi: Thanks! It is a great fit and soooo comfortable.

Anon: Green is my favorite color. So, I knew I had to have this skirt!

Diem: I would never wear the belt with this skirt without the cardigan. The belt makes me look thick through the middle. It's all about creating an optical illusion. The cardigan did that for me.

Lori: Thanks! The angle in my mirror makes my legs look longer! I wish they really looked like that! LOL!

Jenni: Yeah, I thought, "Why mess with a good thing?" LOL!
