I had a really good day. One of the best ones I've had in a long time. It was just one of those days where everything goes well, and you feel like life is full of hope and promise. I made a new friend today. I had a local blog reader contact me, and we met up for lunch. We had some good food and good conversation. Of course, Anthro came up alot. She told me that she recently bought the Contemporarian Dress, but she plans to return it. I told her I would like to try it on before she does that. That dress has been on my wishlist for some time now. Only problem is, it's a size 4. I tried on a size 6 a month ago and it fit good, so the 4 may be too small. I figured it was worth a try, though. I'm going to try it on tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

As promised, I'm wearing some items I haven't worn in awhile today. In addition, I'm wearing another pair of floral Rocket Dog shoes. I decided to keep the outfit simple and let the shoes be the stand out piece in this outfit. I really like how this turned out. However, the blouse is pretty big on me now due to my weight loss, but I think it still works. I'm not a big pencil skirt person, but I just love my Acting Out Skirt. The stretch in it makes it much more comfortable than your typical pencil skirt. These shoes are surprisingly comfortable and how cute are they? I love 'em!

Today's song is "What Sarah Said" by Death Cab For Cutie. This is such a beautiful song. It's one of my favorites. It's about the realization that we will have to deal with leaving one another through death and that "Love is watching someone die. So, who's gonna watch you die?" Powerful stuff.
