"I'd seen a path turn to an old road but the secret's too slow and we're too fast." - Blind Pilot

I'm blogging just around midnight... It's been a long day. I have a feeling I'm going to regret being up this late in the morning. I'm still having writer's block. I have no idea what to talk about. I had a pretty typical day at work, came home and cooked some spaghetti, chilled for a little while, and now here I am typing away on my laptop when I should be asleep.

I'm wearing the Wooded Hideaway Skirt today. I realized that I haven't worn this skirt much at all. It's a shame because I really love this skirt with it's cute little foxes slightly hidden in the pattern. I almost put a black cardigan with it this morning, but I realized that this week was quickly turning into one of those black cardigan weeks. I wore a black cardigan on Tuesday and a black shrug yesterday. I resisted the urge to pick up the black cardigan and instead went for a teal one. To give the outfit a little more interest, I added the Biloba Necklace. It was another cold, rainy day, so the pictures are indoors again.

Today's song is "I Buried a Bone" by Blind Pilot. I love the horns in this song. Hooray for horns!

Well, I'm sorry this is such a pathetic post. Hopefully, I will be back on Saturday with some awesome outdoor pictures from my new camera. I have a function to attend tomorrow night, so I will be taking a break from blogging tomorrow. It sure looks like I need to take a break judging from this pitiful post. I hope you all have a great start to your weekend. Good night!

  1. Hi Bonnie, you don,t always have to talk about interesting stuff all the time. I believe many of your readers are contented with looking at your beautiful stunning pictures. I enjoy reading you saying simple mandane things such as what you wear, eat and how's the children. After all, that's the charm of small town, right?
Don't worry about writer's block and such. Your blog has it's own unique charm that has been my daily staple:))))

  2. I so love that skirt! I only wish it had been smidge longer, a smidge cheaper, and had pockets! You look great in it though and I love it with the teal!

  3. This outfit is anything but pitiful. That skirt is so pretty & great color choice on the cardigan. Enjoy your function tomorrow!

  4. I love the way you styled the skirt with the teal sweater. I agree with Miin - I am ok with seeing your outfits and hearing about regular life, too! ;) I read your blog everyday because I like reading what you have to say - even if it is not profound to you. Sometimes the simple is the most profound of all. Have a restful weekend. Cheers! xoxo
