"Words support like bone." - Peter Gabriel

I don't have any photos to post today, because 'ole Jerr the Love God left his camera at work yesterday which has the photos on it that need to be edited. Yes, he tried to call me while I was still at work to tell me to grab the camera before I left. No, I didn't hear my phone. Yes, it's still all his fault. ;-)

Despite the lack of pictures, I wanted to do a quick post to let you know how much I have appreciated all the supportive comments the past couple of days. It's amazing what some love can do. I was so discouraged on Tuesday, but the comments on Wednesday's post were just what I needed to get me back on track.

Thursday's post seems to have been a big hit. I have to say I would have never had the confidence (or craziness) to do a post like that if it hadn't been for all the supportive and encouraging comments I received on Wednesday. I read a lot of blogs and rarely comment, mostly out of sheer laziness. Therefore, the motivation and time it takes to leave one is not lost on me. So, thanks!

I received further encouragement this week from a blog post by one of my favorite writers. Ironically, the post was about the lack of support people give one another. It reminded me a lot of the post I did last week about why we tear each other down. I really love her take on this topic.

During lunch on Friday, I told Jerry about this blog post. He asked me if I had ever seen the Chinese symbol for humanity. I said no. He explained to me that it was 2 lines supported by one another. It's physically impossible for one line to be lifted up without the other. "Wow", I said, "that's beautiful."

  1. AHA! So it wasn't vitamins. It *is* Jerr the Love God that's working the changes. I thought as much.

  2. I read the blog of your favorite writer because it appeared on your reading list. It was like it was speaking to me. I have the same problem that you have with relatives. Most people tell you to keep on trying. It doesn't work......total waste of time. I quit trying.....feels so much better. I keep going back and reading this blog. It makes so much sense. Thanks Bonnie! By the way, I enjoy your humor.
