I think these boots may be my best purchase ever! I absolutely love them! They slipped right on today without much effort, so they are streching out nicely. I got an 8.5, so I would say they run a 1/2 size big since I usually take a size 9 in boots. If you have a high arch, you may have problems getting into them, since there is no zipper, but I think you should at least try. Most online shoe stores have free return shipping. I find it helps to get into them if I'm wearing a thin, hose-like sock. I think once they have stretched out a bit, I will be able to wear thicker socks. I was kinda freak out when I first pulled them out of the box, because they had a white substance all over them. I found a little tag inside the box that explained that the natural oils leak out of them, so I would need to rub them with a dry cloth every so often to get off the white film. You learn something new everyday... The bottoms are very slick right now. I feel like I'm skating rather than walking, but I know with wear that problem will go away. I guess the only real negative is the price. Most online stores like Zappos and Endless have these priced at $350. I did alot of searching and managed to find some at StreetModa.com for $300 and then I found a coupon for 15% off, so I ended up getting these for $250. They were worth every penny! I can see these lasting for many years to come. In this outfit:
