"So watch your back, the Ides of March." - Conor Oberst

Well, we've made it halfway through March. They say March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, but this has not been the case in my neck of the woods this year. The weather has been glorious, sunny and in the 70's. I'm loving it because I've been able to debut some of my new Spring dresses.

I couldn't find this dress on Anthro's website, so I don't have a name or a link. I saw it in the store over the weekend, took it back to the fitting room, and was immediately smitten with it. First off, I love the color, a gorgeous vibrant green. In addition, I love the lacy fabric, the relaxed fit, and the asymmetrical hem line. Mostly, though, I'm excited about the many different ways I'll be able to style it. I chose to wear boots with it this time since it's still quite chilly in the mornings. I also picked up this belt over the weekend that I think compliments it very well.

I'm really loving Anthro's new brand Leifnotes as I'm finding myself attracted to many of it's offerings. I've already purchased a blouse and a dress from the brand and have added several other items to the top of my wishlist. I hope Anthro keeps the Leifnotes products coming, because they definitely fit my style.

I've been in really good spirits lately, and I think the blog reflects that. I hope you all have been enjoying the more positive tone lately. Knowing me, I'm sure it won't last forever, but I'm enjoying the peace and quiet while it lasts. Here's hoping to a second half of March that continues to go as good as the first half.

P.S. I noticed this morning that I've got a few too many green dresses in my closet. Yes, I can't believe I'm typing out those words, but it's true. One can have too many green dresses. I'm afraid people might start thinking I'm a leprechaun. Anyway, I plan to put a couple of them up for sale tonight over at Bonnie's closet. We'll call it a St. Patrick's Day sale. So, if you're in the market for a green dress, check it out!

  5. Gorgeous dress, Bonnie! Green is definitely your color! Did you have to wear a slip underneath it or is it lined?
