These pictures almost didn't happen. We decided to take them later in the afternoon, but I forgot that summer is coming to a close, taking with it our longer days. As a result, it started getting dark faster than I realized, and we didn't get out to take these pictures until the last little bit of light was left in the sky. Props to photo boyfriend for getting these to turn out despite the low light conditions.  

This summer almost didn't happen. Two people fell madly in love, but the odds were stacked against them. Born a decade apart and traveling very different paths, it didn't seem possible that they would ever find each other, but they did. These people did not desire to hurt anyone, but their love could not be denied. Lives were altered, futures were changed, but love found a way.

Photo boyfriend not only lights up my pictures, he lights up my life. This summer has been so special to me. I've spent it with the man of my dreams. I've felt feelings like I've never felt before and shared pieces of myself I've never shared with anyone else. I never believed in true love until this summer. No matter what happens, I know that in the dusk of my life, I will look back on this summer and know that I have truly lived and loved.
