Splendor in the Grass

Everytime I drive down I-40 on my way to Raleigh, I comment on this grass that is growing along side one of the overpasses. I think to myself or comment to my passenger that it would be the perfect grass for a photo shoot. This stuff is just gorgeous! Well, imagine my delight when I found out that my beloved grass was growing on a golf course that my company owns! There was a golf tournament this week, so my photographer friend was out on the course taking photos. I asked him if he would mind if I dropped by so I could fulfill my dream of having my picture taken in the purple grass. He said, "Sure!" Yippee! So, I've spent the past few days annoying everyone asking them what outfit would look good with the "purple grass." It came down to the Kindred Spirit Sweaterdress or the Refined Cord Shirtdress. A few of you kind folks gave me your opinion and it was unanimous for the Kindred Spirit Sweaterdress, so naturally, I went with the Refined Cord Shirtdress. LOL! That was the one my husband preferred, and the first one that popped in my head when I started thinking about this photo shoot, so it seemed like the right choice. While we were out there, I noticed there was a field of soybeans not far away, so we took some photos there too. Sorry there are so many pictures, but I just love them all!
