Photo Shoot: Loosely Looped Cotton Picking

Hello readers! It's been a glorious Saturday. The weather is perfect today - not a cloud in the sky and a wonderful Fall breeze in the air. I slept late, grilled hamburgers for lunch, fell asleep in the hammock, and watched the guys picking cotton in our backyard. I decided it would be a good time for a photo shoot. There was this interesting piece of equipment that packs the cotton into a rectangular "module." I couldn't miss the opportunity to get my picture made with it! LOL! I also made sure to get one with the cotton picker in the background. I'm wearing the Loosely Looped Tee with Joe Jeggins and Frye boots. This is my first pair of jeggins (that word makes me laugh out loud everytime I say it). I got them on sale at Anthro for $40. They are very comfortable and great to tuck into boots. I don't think I will ever wear them without boots, though. The tight legs remind me of the hideous pants I used to wear in the 80's!

  1. Love, love, love your outfit! The color of the Loosely Looped looks so great on you! I now want to try it on! :)

I've been looking for some boots for this season and I love your Frye boots! Did you get them from Anthro? I know they sell Frye at other places so that's why I was asking.

  5. Elizabeth: Thanks! I had a hard time deciding what color to get, but I'm glad I went with this one. I got my Frye's from a online store called StreetModa.com. They were $350 everywhere except this place had them for $300 plus I found a 15% off coupon code, so I ended up getting them for $260.

Peggy: Welcome! So glad you found me! I also added you to my blog roll!

Annie: Thanks! I got my a half size down from what I normally wear, so I think they run a little big.

Pamela: Thanks! I'll tell my husband you said so. He was the photographer.

  6. What a stunning photoshoot, Bonnie. The wine color of the blouse looks phenomenal on you. And I can't even tell that the pants are jeggings -- they look like slimfit jeans to me! Either way, you are rocking them! I haven't had the guts to try jeggings yet, but it seems like they are perfect for tucking into boots.

And I love the new header!
