It's Friday! So, that means it's casual day at work. I felt like wearing something really comfortable and basic today. I'm wearing a white embroidered gauze top with my favorite Lucky jeans. I added a pop of color with yellow sandals and a yellow bracelet. I got these sandals last week when Piperlime had their 20% off flat sandals day. These sandals are so cute! They have yellow studded flowers on them, and they were only $30! My bag came from Anthropologie. It was hanging in the sale room when I went on a shopping trip to Durham in December. I love the embroidery on it! It just had to come home with me that day! All the items in the this outfit fit true to size.

It's almost Friday! Yipee! I decided to wear my new Solar Star Blouse today. Yes, I know it is my Mother's Day gift, but since I already know about it, what's the harm in wearing it now? LOL! I paired it with an open, short sleeve cardigan in navy from The Limited. I think this combo goes well together,but I really want the navy Blooming Lattice cardigan from Anthro to wear over this shirt. My hubby says I can't spend any more money for awhile, so this cardigan will just have to do for now. :-( This is my first time wearing these pants. I got them a couple of weeks ago on sale from The Limited for $15.00! You can't beat that price for a pair of dress pants. The Limited has awesome deals! I tried to get my husband to take my pictures today, so you wouldn't have to look at pictures of my outfit through my dirty mirror, but he took a picture of me instead of the clothes. So, I just ended up taking them myself. The last picture is the one he took.

It's hump day, and it is a little on the chilly side in my small town today, so I decided to wear my boots to keep my feet warm. I just love wearing these boots! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I am also wearing one of my new purchases from J Crew - the V-neck Lundi dress. I got this dress in a medium, but it is a little big, so I think I could have gone with the small. It's too aggravating to make an exchange at J Crew, so I can live with the medium. I find that most a J Crew's clothes, especially tops, run on the big side. The color of this dress is what attracted me to it. It is a really pretty shade of lilac. This dress is short sleeve, so I paired it with a long cardigan from Urban Outfitters to keep my arms warm. I added a necklace from The Limited for visual interest and decided to clip my bangs back with a hair clip from Anthropologie. This clip was not very expensive and I'm glad it wasn't because it is cheaply made. It is beautiful, but I was scared I was going to break it trying to get it into my hair. I have a feeling I better enjoy wearing this one today because I don't think it is going to last very long!

Well, I made it through Monday! To mark this happy occasion I decided to wear yellow today. I just love this color! This is the same cardigan I had on yesterday from The Limited just in yellow instead of black. You can never get enough of a good thing! I am wearing a medium, so it fits true to size. My pants are also from The Limited. I love the wide legs and the black and white pattern on these. I am wearing a 6, so these also fit true to size. My necklace and ring are, once again, from The Limited. I just love that store! Their website is good, but I love to go to the store in Cary, NC. It is a really big store and the clothes are always so organized and laid out beautifully. I envy you girls that can shop at TJ Max and the like, but I just can't do it. I can't go through racks of clothes trying to find that one jem. It drives me crazy! I just want to see it and buy it! I guess I'm just lazy! LOL! Necklace and Ring: The Limited Winter 2009

Happy Monday! It's back to work, and since it's suppose to be warm today, I decided to wear my new dress from The Limited. This is a dress from the Jodi Arnold for The Limited collection. I didn't like any tops or bottoms from this collection, but I got 3 dresses from it. I got a size 8 in this dress, but I think I could have worn a 6. Apparently, it runs a little big. It has a belt that came with it that solves some of the bulkiness issue, but what really helped was pairing it with a belted cardigan. The belt on the cardigan really cinches in the waist and makes this dress much more flattering. The top of this dress is a little too skimpy for work, so I would have had to put something over it anyway, but I think this cardigan serves double duty by making the top more conservative for work and cinching in the waist to make it more figure flattering. The material on the dress is silk, so I was worried about it wrinkling, but I took these pictures halfway through the day and there was not a wrinkle in sight! It is also very comfortable. They still have plenty left online, but it is a bit pricey at $98. I only paid $50 for it because The Limited has great coupons! I have some extra ones right now that I am not going to use, so if you are going to make a purchase from The Limited any time soon, let me know, and I will give you a coupon code to use. My stuff came in from JCrew and Old Navy today, so I will take some pics tonight and post reviews.

It's Sunday, so I spent most of the day cleaning and taking care of my kids while my husband worked in the yard. I was in my PJ's until this afternoon. I needed to go grocery shopping, so I threw on something comfortable. I wore the Anthropologie Tucked Away Blooms Cardigan with some skinny jeans and flats. I got this cardigan in a medium and it fits great, so it fits true to size. I got these jeans from Anthro as well, they are a brand I had never heard of before called Pilcro. I got a size 28 (6) and they fit great, so these also fit true to size. These jeans have a lower price point then most of Antho's jeans so that's an added bonus! These jeans went on sale recently for $50 and are sold out online, but there are probably some still left in stores, so you could call Anthro customer service and they would check for you. FYI: If they find it at a store, they will ship it too you for free. My shoes are from Old Navy and they are so comfy. I got some stuff coming in tomorrow from Old Navy and JCrew, so I will have alot of reviews coming soon! This is the last purchases I made before my husband cut me off, so I hope I like alot of it, because it will be awhile before I get anything else new!

So, I went to a wedding today. I was so excited because I thought it would be the perfect place to wear my new Drifting By Dress. I got a size 10 in this dress because the reviews said it ran on the small side in the chest area. It is a little big on me, but I kept the size 10 because I thought it would be more comfortable to move around in than the size 8. I think I made the right decision. I was in this dress for 7 hours today, and it was very comfortable. It is available in all sizes online, but it is a bit pricey at $168, so you might want to wait for this one to go on sale. I would say it is true to size unless you are busty, like me ;-), then you might want to order up a size. It was a little chilly today and this dress is sleeveless, so I decided to wear a cardigan I got from The Limited. I think it went well with the dress. I also wore the flower pin in my hair that my husband got me for Christmas. The color in the center of the flower matched my dress perfectly. It was a beautiful wedding and it always suprises me how emotional I get at weddings. Only in the South would you have a reception with barbeque, fried chicken, slaw, potato salad, and hushpuppies. It was yummy! There was also a 7 layer chocolate cake, my favorite, so I was really glad I got the bigger size dress when I got done eating that! LOL! I just received the Solar Star Blouse in the mail today, and I love it! I got it on sale for $50 - it had been $98. I got a size 8 and it fit great, so I would say this top fits true to size. I love the yellow color and the embroidery on the sides. It is pretty sheer and low cut, so I will need to wear a cami underneath. I think it is sold out online, but you could call Anthropologie customer service and see if there are any left in stores in your size. I will let this be my gift for Mother's Day, so hubby will let me keep it! ;-)
