"If there was a time when I could pinpoint my happiness, this is it, this moment." - Cai.ro

If these tights and shoes look familiar it's because I just wore them in yesterday's post. I hope that wearing the same tights two days in a row isn't like wearing the same pants two days in a row. Otherwise, I'm in trouble with the fashion police. My only excuse is that I wanted to wear my new dress that I got for 20% off last week, and I wanted to style it like the model in the online photo. Unfortunately, I don't have the slamming black booties that the model is wearing (a travesty that will soon be remedied with a Amazon.com promo code and a few clicks of my mouse), so I had to improvise with my Raines heels.

I received this dress in the mail a few days ago and as soon as I pulled it out of the box, I declared to the empty room that I would be returning it. The material seemed cheap, the silhouette shapeless, and the pattern very busy. I put it back in the box without even trying it on. The next morning I was struggling to find something to wear (a common problem among those of us with an obscene amount of clothes) and I thought, "What the hell, I'll give that new dress a try." Well, what do you know? As soon as I got it on and cinched the drawstring, I loved it. It's not my normal style, but the fit won me over. The material wasn't bad on either. It was actually very comfortable and had the added bonus of not sticking to my tights when I walked.

In addition to going above and beyond and wearing a different dress from yesterday, I decided to give you a little glimpse of a different side of me. I had a commenter question my happiness yesterday. I totally get that I probably come off as an unhappy, reclusive bitch since I have a bad habit of focusing on the negative aspects of life when I write on here. So, I decided to go a little crazy at the end of this photo shoot and swing my hair around a bit. I know, it's shocking. I can move my head around and smile with teeth. Dare I say, I actually have fun in my life sometimes. Seriously, though, it felt good to let loose in front of the camera for a change.
