"Been thinkin - you got to mellow slow. Takes time - you pick a place to go and just keep truckin on." - Grateful Dead

Well, these were the pictures I was going to post on Friday, but something took a hold of me, and I needed to speak my mind. Hmm....could it be....Satan! Anyway, I decided to go ahead and post these today as my way of saying I'm moving on. I figured at the very least these pictures could provide some people with something for dart practice.

I got this top on sale a couple of weeks ago. I had tried it on last month with the Colorblocked Sweater Skirt in Blue. I loved the combination, so when the top went on sale I scooped it up. I didn't have the funds to get the skirt, so I wasn't sure what I would wear with it. I remembered I had the Circle the Globe Skirt in a similar color, so I was hoping it would work. It did! I really love how this outfit turned out. So much so, I've decided when I have the money I will get the Colorblocked Skirt in the grey colorway instead. I'm really digging the grey and yellow color combination.

One more thing, I would just like to thank everyone for their comments and participation in the post I made yesterday. I just felt it needed to be said. It was not my intention to offend anyone. It seems some people are going to be offended no matter what you say. You can't please everyone, and I'm not going to try. I'm just going to keep on truckin'. Hang on it's going to be a bumpy ride!

  4. I just want to let you know that despite the fallout from your post yesterday, it was really quite brilliant and accurate. I just read a quote, 'cliques retard growth' and it really drove home your point. Wether they want to believe or not that the community was really a clique, thats precisely what it is. People didn't report for a) fear of appearing foolish and b) fear of upsetting the clique hierarchy.

  5. So pretty! I love your hair like that.

Ugg. People can be so silly sometimes! I'll read blog posts and be all "oh, interesting point of view" and then see the comments where people are ready to lynch the poor blogger.

  8. Cute outfit! Also, I'm in dire need of inspiration of what to wear with that skirt. I love the colour but it seems that nearly everything else in my cupboard doesn't!

  10. Hi Sian! I've found several different things in my closet to go with this skirt. If you do a search on my blog for "Circle the Globe" it might give you some ideas. Good luck!
