Portions For Foxes

"Baby, you're bad news. I don't care I like you." - Rilo Kiley

Well, today was a better day. It's amazing the difference a day makes. I feel silly for being so upset yesterday. I appreciate all your well-wishes and advice. I am looking into some therapy. I'll let you all know how it goes. I ran out to the drug store this afternoon. The store was having buy 1 get 1 half off on lipstick, so I bought 4 different colors. I'm wearing one of them in this photo. I'm trying to branch out with my lipstick.

Today's post is going to be short. My son has a stomach virus, and I'm trying to help him through it. I'm starting to feel sick myself now. I hate vomiting. I've only done it a handful of times in my life, so it freaks me out when it happens.

You've seen today's outfit before. The only difference is the shoes. I wasn't feeling very creative this morning. It was so warm here today, I wanted to rip these tights off halfway through the day. I'm dressing lighter tomorrow. In case you've been wondering, I've been only doing 1 flash photo because my camera takes a ridiculously long time to take a picture with the flash.

Today's song is "Portions for Foxes" by Rilo Kiley. This is by far my favorite song by them. It's about being in a relationship that you know is bad for you, but it offers you the comfort you need, so you stay in it anyway.

Hopefully, I will have a more exciting post tomorrow. Have a good night!

  1. Great outfit! I'm hoping for a popback of the Kindred Spirit Sweaterdress myself.

I'm so glad you had a better day today!

    And I love RILO KILEY!!!

  2. You always wear the cutest outfits!

  3. I love that dress! I wish I would have put that on my wishlist!

  4. Going to therapy should help you. I've read too many times on here where you're up one day, down the next, and the cycle keeps repeating. I am sad that is happening to you. Hope it helps.

  5. Terri: I hope you are able to get the dress! Thank you!

    Mommybloger: Aw, thanks!

Steph: It's a great dress. I bought it at full price. Maybe one will pop up on Ebay or in a store.

Anon: Thanks! Yeah, I got issues, but I'm on meds, so I guess the next step is therapy.
