Lazy Day

It was a messy, messy day in the neighborhood. It has rained pretty much all day. Our backyard looks like a lake right now. I've been so lazy. I didn't "offically" get out of bed until 1pm. I was going to clean today and do laundry, but, yeah, that didn't happen. I did go out for a photo shoot, and I cooked a mean fish stew tonight, so I redeemed myself a little bit.

The photo shoot did not go well. We went out during a break in the rain. I told my husband to go to my dad's place, but when we got there, he refused to go anywhere I wanted to go because he thought we might get stuck in the mud. Chicken! LOL! I finally convinced him to drive over to my dad's lumber mill. It was really hard to find anywhere to take pictures because it was all pretty much one big mud hole. Also, the rain was replaced with a cold, crazy wind. Since it was so nasty out, I had thought, "Today is a bun day", so I had pulled my hair up. The wind and my hair did not cooperate. The wind was blowing pieces of my hair around and my husband told me it looked crazy. I wasn't very encouraged that these pictures were going to look very good, so I took my hair down on the way back home, and when we got there I took a few more pictures by a tree in my front yard.

I'm wearing a recent purchase from the sale this past week, the Narrow Ruled Henley. This is not a top I would usually go for, but when I made a trip to my store a couple of weeks ago, I saw this top on a mannequin with a really pretty turquoise necklace. I thought it looked very casual chic. So, I added the top to my wishlist for sale, and I purchased it during Wednesday's sale. I can't believe how fast it got here! I've also added the necklace to my wishlist. It's the Perfect Skippers Necklace. It's pretty pricey, so I will definitely be waiting for it to go on sale. In the meantime, I found a "substitute" necklace in my jewelry box.

My photo shoot for my post on EA is tomorrow. I still don't know what I'm wearing. I haven't even tried anything on like I was planning on doing today. I think I'm just going to decide spur of the moment, that usually works out better anyway. I'm really nervous about it. I hope it all turns out the way I see it in my head.

Today's song is "All of my Days" by Alexi Murdoch. Alexi has some very soothing music. Perfect music to listen to on a day like today. His music is also very positive which is something I need right now. This is probably my favorite song by him. It's about being lost in life and finally finding what you've been looking for.

The forecast is calling for a pretty day tomorrow. I sure hope so. I need some nice weather for what I have planned tomorrow afternoon. Have a great night!
