Well it was a heat wave last week, so it's only natural that it's suppose to snow tonight. Only in North Carolina! I waited until really late in the afternoon to take these photos hoping it would start snowing, but no such luck! I'm wearing a coat I purchased from Ruche a few months ago. This is my first time wearing it since it hasn't really been cold enough until today. I really like it, and it was a good price.

Today, has been a really relaxed day. Penny and I slept until noon. I got up, straightened up the house, and washed some clothes. My mom came over, and I made everyone Shrimp Stew for dinner. My mom was in a great mood! She even looked at some of my photos and commented that she really liked one of them! Wow! She also gave me a hug before she left. I was like, "Who are you, and what have you done to my mother?" LOL!

I just checked my email, and I had one from Anthro telling me that they found a Snowy Egret Shift in a size 8! I'm so excited! I really hope it works out because it's such a beautiful dress and now I have alot of time and effort investested in it!

When we got home it finally started to snow! You can't really see it that good in the photos. You can see a little snow on my hat. It was enough to get me excited! LOL!

  2. Ohmigosh I've been thinking about ordering that jacket for the past week and I'm so glad you featured it because now I can see what it looks like IRL! Do you think it fits TTS? I'm usually an 8 or 10 in tops.

  4. I agree with Dea - it was so gorgeous to watch the snow fall! I think we probably got about an inch here - crazy for early December!

  6. We got about 5 inches up here in the mountains. It IS beautiful, and I *almost* forgive the snow for all the mean things it did to me last year...I am just crossing my fingers that this snow doesn't mean a day off from school tomorrow. We can't miss any days before Christmas! Beautiful coat...looks so good with your hat.

  8. Erin: A inch? I'm so jealous!

Jen: Thanks! I needed a gray coat, and I'm so glad I got this one.

    AppGal: Wow! I'm really jealous!

Victoria: I think it is warm. It was 30 degrees yesterday, and I felt really warm in it. It is not wool which I like because I'm allergic to wool.

I'm glad your Mum had such kind words about your pictures, they are really good so I'm pleased for you.
All the snow has gone here finally, yippee. Only about 5-6 inches but enough to annoy me :)
