Purple Rain

It was a very rainy day. Not an ideal day to be out and about, but my son had an appointment with the eye doctor, so duty called. He needs glasses, and we had fun picking them out. We ended up going with the first pair I picked up. I think I'm a pretty good glasses-picker. He looks so good in them! On the way to the doctor, he said out of the blue, "When I grow up and get a wife, I'm gonna put a secret code on the computer so she can't shop." Smart kid, that one. LOL!

I'm stepping out of my my usual fashion box today and wearing purple tights! I ordered these from The Limited last week and had no idea what I was going to wear with them. As I stood in my closet this morning half asleep, the Southward Stop Shirtdress passed before my groggy eyes. A match made in fashion heaven! The rest is history.

The rain and lack of light forced us inside for pictures today. My dear husband, I love him and he takes fantastic pictures outside, but inside - not so much. He was actually trying to give me some direction today for some strange reason. I think being inside made him feel more powerful or something. Anyway, everything he told me to do ended up looking crazy. I told him he needed to stick with taking the pictures and let me handle the posing. I guess I can't complain, though. He is sweet to take my pictures everyday. There are not alot of picturesque places in my house, so I ended up taking most of them on this bench in my bedroom. Well, I'm gonna go crash on the couch and eat some Heath Bar ice cream. Have a good night!
