Wow! This weekend has really flown by! It's back to work tomorrow, and for me, it's going to be especially hard because I had such a relaxing time on my trip last week. It won't be a full day of work for me, though. I'm going to see one of my favorite bands tomorrow night, The National. So, I'll be leaving work early for that. I'm trying to decided what to wear for the event. The weather is so unpreditable lately! Right now, I'm leaning toward my new Lucerna dress and my Frye boots, but I don't know if it will be cold enough for boots tomorrow. It was definitely cold enough for boots today. It was very cloudy and cool and looked like it could rain at any time, but it never did - thank goodness! We had a virtual flood last week, so we don't need anymore rain for awhile! Today, I'm wearing the Jet Stream Cardigan over a Ric Rac tee from a few years ago. My jeans are Pilcro's, and I noticed that they were a little snug - must have been all those free doughnuts and cookies at class last week! LOL! I also decided to debut the dark brown Frye boots today. They are incredibly slick on the bottom, so I thought a trip to the grocery store would help get them scuffed up a bit. I included my little girl in my pics today, because I thought her outfit was incredibly cute! She got so many compliments on her boots while we were out. Ironic, considering her's cost $15 and mine cost $300. LOL!

Love the boots! Quick question--I am trying to decide between the saddle and tan Fryes. I have dark brown and black and need a lighter pair. What made you pick the saddle?
ReplyDeleteClaire: Thanks! I read alot of reviews where people said the tan boots were alot lighter in person than they thought they were going to be. I just like the richness of the saddle color better. I don't think you could go wrong with either pair, though.
