OOTD: Herritage Estate

What a difference a day makes! The weather was just perfect today! Consequently, I have been in much better spirits. I decided to go down the road to my sister's house for my outfit pics. She has a really beautiful, rustic house down the hill from my dad's place. My sister loves antiques and gets alot of great stuff from yard sales. Of course, I'm the complete opposite. I appreciate antiques, but I love me some new stuff! LOL! I wish I had her dedication of going out every Saturday to all the local yard sales to find that one "jewel." Her house really has a unique look because of that, whereas, mine looks like Pottery Barn threw up in it. She also has a green thumb you wouldn't believe. Just look at that Jasmine growing around her porch! The topiaries in a couple of the pictures were from my wedding. She was my wedding planner, so her payment was she got to keep all the plants used in the wedding. I thought her home would be the perfect backdrop to showcase the Herritage Estate blouse. I really love this blouse! I can't tell you how many compliments I received on it today! I'm also wearing some new, fabulous shoes. I ordered these from Ruche last week and they just came yesterday. They were only $30 which I thought was a steal for these suede beauties! Have a great night!

  1. I wish I had the patience to go around and take photos like you rather than just take it infront of our door! :) I really enjoy the lovely scenery you take us onto a daily basis. I appreciate that. :)

  2. Cindi: Thanks! You don't know how much that means to me! My family gives me such grief for these pictures. They just think it is a waste of time and silly!

  3. You look lovely!

I love your sister's house. Makes me wish I lived in the country instead of the 'burbs. I know what you mean about antique shopping. It's something I wish I did, and had the patience for. But instead, I just shop at Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel!

  4. Beautiful pictures as usual :) Don't let your family give you grief. This is your hobby and something you're passionate about so why wouldn't you want to try and make it the best it can be?

Don't fret the Pottery Barn house, my house is practically an Ikea showroom! :)
