"She needs wide open spaces, room to make her big mistakes." - Dixie Chicks

You ever do something without thinking and then regret it afterwards? Don't you feel so stupid? Yeah, that's the way I'm feeling today. I made a mistake yesterday, and I'm feeling really bad about it. I've been going over and over it in my mind wishing I could have made a different decision. The problem is I can't go back, and as much as my mind wants to stay and wallow in the muck of the past, I must move forward. Being depressed about it isn't going to change anything.

Speaking of change, I gave my blog a little makeover. We're getting fancy up in here! I got a new commenting system. I had some people complain that the Blogger commenting system kept eating their comments, so you guys let me know how this one does. Also, the blog now has a Facebook page and a Twitter account. Yes, we have been very busy little bees today. I have no idea how I'm going to keep up with all this stuff! It's possible I won't have to keep up with it. I sent out my very first Tweet today to my one and only follower. LOL!

I really loved this photoshoot! I found a new place to take photos that has all kinds of little photo background gems. I can't wait to take more photos there! However, it probably won't be happening this weekend since there's a hurricane a coming. The dress I'm wearing is a old purchase from The Limited. Remixers, are you proud of me yet? Also, this dress is made from organic cotton. Environmentalists, you proud of me too? C'mon people! I need someone to be proud of me. Can't you hear my desperate pleas? See, this is what happens when I make a mistake. I need some love from my blog peeps. Oh, and in case your wondering why I'm acting so silly, the hurricane party has NOT started yet...

  6. I'm like that too sometimes. I've been known to dwell and dwell on all the mistakes I've made and the bad things I've done intentionally or not. You just have to force yourself to keep rolling. Sometimes I think "If I hadn't done that, if I hadn't made that mistake I would never have learned this or that." Mistakes are valuable and make you grow and sometimes growing can be painful. If every lesson we learned felt good we'd never really appreciate and value the lesson.
