A Little Romance

"I took off my clothes and I ran to the ocean looking for somewhere to start a-new and when I was drowning in that holy water all I could think of was you." - Keane

You're not going to believe this, but I actually had a pretty good day. All those positive comments, emails, and vibes from you guys must have done the trick! I shed a few tears this morning then went to work. I was super busy at work which was wonderful because I didn't have time to think about anything. I FINALLY got my 401K Census transmitted after a week of error messages. I came home, took some pictures, and then went out to dinner with my family. I'm laying in bed now, typing and listening to some Keane. I'm comfy, cozy, and feeling pretty good at the moment.

I'm wearing a sale purchase from 2009 today. I don't reach for this top that often for some reason. I've only worn it a handful of times since I've had it. I got the new Fossil catalog in the mail yesterday, and I was looking through it and there was this one look with a flowy lace shirt and wide leg jeans that had this cool, romantic vibe to it. Today's outfit was inspired by that look. I MUST have that lace top from Fossil, but until then, this will have to do. Now, don't yall go out and buy up all of them before I get mine! I'll be mad! LOL! My hair really cooperated with the look today. I have some soft, wavy curls going on that fit the romantic vibe. My beloved cloche finished things off. I took another butt shot. I think I'm going to make it a Friday night tradition. The butt is still on the small side this week. Stay tuned for another butt status next Friday. LOL!

The song today is "Love is the End" by Keane. When I thought of romantic this is the first band that popped into my head. Being a pianist, I really appreciate the use of piano in their music. I love the lyrics in this particular song. This song is really important to me right now.

Well, it supposed to be a beautiful weekend here. I'm looking forward to exploring some new places to take photos. I still haven't gotten started on that book, so I plan on doing that. Also, my husband has demanded that I sell another round of clothes. So, I will be posting some stuff to Bonnie's Closet this weekend. Anything that doesn't sell after a couple of days, I'm going to move to Ebay. So, be sure to check it out! Have a great night!

  2. Yay! I love Keane! I need to brush up on some of their newer stuff.

This is a beautiful outfit, Bonnie. So soft and simple. I'm so glad you had a good day. We are supposed to get some "warm" weather this weekend too (upper 30s)...I'm really looking forward to some snow melt! Have a great weekend.

  4. What a difference a day makes, huh? It's good to remember when you're feeling down that tomorrow is another day and it could be a good one. Glad you're feeling better.
Btw, I had to laugh at AppGal saying that upper 30s is warm. I feel for the rest of the country. I'm in L.A., and it's been in the 70's almost every day in January. I actually hope for rain!

AppGal: Love me some Keane! Enjoy the warmer temps this weekend!

Carol: Welcome to my blog! I was so happy to see a comment from you. I love your blog so much! Thanks! I love birds, so I just had to have this necklace.

Lisa: So jealous of your warmer temps! Yes, it's amazing how our moods change from day to day.

    Alana: Thanks! Hats are great!

Karen: I'm not looking forward to the work that goes into it, but I hope you find something you like. I think I'll hold onto the hat for now! LOL!

  8. I can see in your eyes you look so much happier today (yesterday? Think I'm behind) and your romantic outfit and wavy hair is lovely.

I adore Keane, we saw them live a few years ago and they were really good. The lead singer Tom is so cute, Perfect Symmetry is their best album by far x
