OOTD: Circle the Globe Skirt

It's hot! I so enjoyed the nice cool weather we had last week, but now it's back to sweating again! My boss is training to be a yoga instructor, so last week, in order to give him some practice, my co-workers and I had yoga class on the rooftop deck of my office building. There was a wonderful breeze up there and the sky was beautiful! We plan on doing it again today, but now that it is so hot, I'm worried I'm going to sweat to death! I'll let you know how it turns out! I'm wearing the Circle the Globe Skirt from Anthro today. The biggest complaints I've heard about this skirt is that it is wrinkly. My mom ironed it this morning for me (thanks mom!) and it looked great. I've been at work 3 hours, and the front is still fine, but the back is pretty wrinkled. It doesn't bother me, though. I had heard to size down in this skirt, but my usual size 8 fit me best. I tried a size 6, but it just felt too tight in the waist for me. I had a hard time figuring out what top to pair with this skirt. Alot of the tops I tried with it were not fitted enough. This skirt flares out so much, I really need a fitted top to balance things out. I ended up wearing a pretty, floral Anthro shirt I got several years ago. I don't know if I'm completely satisfied with this pairing. I think next time I'll try tucking in a shirt and maybe adding the Looping Lanes Belt. My favorite part of my oufit today is my necklace. It's also from Anthro, and it has pretty little organza flowers on it.

  1. This outfit is very pretty and I love your necklace. I also love how the brightness of the skirt makes the entire ensemble "not too precious". :)
