OOTD: Outback Red

Hello readers! It was a wild night last night. I think we had a tornado come by our house! One minute it was sunny and quiet, and the next it was dark, rainy, and extremely windy. My little girl went to the window to see what was going on, and I heard a weird sound that sounded like a freight train, so I grabbed her up and called my other 2 kids into the hallway. My middle child was like, "Is this house gonna fall down" and "Are we all gonna be dead." Luckily, it passed after a few minutes. We looked outside and the above-ground pool we have was flipped over, my sunflowers were all leaning sideways, and my husband's beautiful tomato plants were blown over. :-( I'm so thankful we were all safe, though! So, let's move on to today's outfit! I purchased this dress and cardigan from The Limited about 3 months ago, and this is the first time I am wearing them. It is from a collection The Limited did in the spring called Outback Red. Apparently, this is a very popular line they sold back in the 80's. Here's the definition from Urban Dictionary: "A clothing line offered by The Limited during the late 80s and early 90s. The clothing line consisted mainly of overpriced henleys and camp shirts. Some girls would wear their collars up so that the Outback Red logo was plainly visible." No visible logos on mine, but I do love the print on this dress, and I think the Looping Lanes belt goes well with it.
